Chocolate Truffles with Coconut Flakes Recipe

What do I love about these besides the fact that they have my favorite ingredient in them? I love how super duper easy these are to make! Usually the time and effort you put into the preparation reflects in the enjoyment but I'm giving you a free pass on this one. These yummy truffles are perfect when you just want a little something sweet or something to whip up for a get together that your guests will LOVE.There isn't much to them so gather your few ingredients and start rolling them up to share! If you are the kind of person that likes to play around, try adding some nuts or a drop of Young Living Peppermint Essential Oil and or add a pinch of nutmeg in the fall season..mmm...


Serves: 10

Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 1/2 cups pitted dates

  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut, plus 1/2 cup for garnish

Instructions:

1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until well combined and stuck together. If needed, add a little water, 1 teaspoon at a time until mixture is smooth and sticky.

2. Form mixture into 1 inch balls and roll in coconut.
